CHICLE has provided both translation (written) and interpreting (spoken) services
to many organizations and businesses since our formation.
We provide these services in many languages, although Spanish most commonly.
It is difficult to overstate the importance of using professional translators and
interpreters. Both require extensive training and experience. Even truly bilingual
people are not qualified if they have not had training.
Because translators and interpreters
are professionals, they charge more than a friend or co-worker, who may even volunteer
to do the work gratis. But professionals ensure that what you have written is what
gets translated.

Interpreting often involves communicating personal information and our interpreters
are trained to respect confidentiality and to remain "uninvolved" in the interaction.
