Liz Harden went to CPI's Heredia program and wrote the following for us after a three-week stay.
"I returned last week from CPI Heredia and I’m already thinking about
my return. The school itself is beautiful, but what makes CPI special are the school’s
instructors and staff. They are always professional, yet they maintain laid-back
attitudes and flexibility in every situation. The classes are challenging but fun
and the teachers are excellent. I had three different instructors while there, all
of whom exceeded my expectations. My home stay experience was also wonderful. My
mama “tica” is a professional chef, and she and her husband own a catering
business. Needless to say, I ate quite well. My accommodations were comfortable
and immaculately clean, and every night I watched the vibrant orange and pink sunset
from my balcony. The pretty little town of San Joaquín de Flores, a small
suburb of Heredia and where CPI is located, is a typical Costa Rican village. Everyone
knows each other, you can walk anywhere, and the church and soccer field are central
to everything, both geographically and in importance. There are few tourists in
the town, so your experience there will be truly Costa Rican."
She sent us these beautiful photos as well.
