SPANISH CLASSES FOR CHILDREN

CHICLE has a strong Spanish program for children that has been going since 2001. Many children have attended since the program began. The program teaches children from ages 3-12. During the school year, we offer one-hour per week classes and during the summer we have week-long morning summer camps.

The Director of our program is Alejandra Russell, originally from Mexico City. Alejandra is a very experienced children's teacher and has developed our children's curriculum. She speaks little English in class and the children learn quickly to follow her Spanish instructions. We set up these classes so that children learn Spanish while enjoying themselves, which they certainly seem to do! Classes incorporate music, movement, vocabulary, and a variety of other learning activities.

Cost is $16 per class and you must sign-up for the whole month. We have a 6 student maximum in each class.

We are also offering classes for teenagers - ages 13-15, and small group classes for home-schooled children. Older students who need extra help with their classwork take our regular private, semi-private (2 students), or group (3 or more students) classes.
