 CHICLE's language instruction emphasizes oral and aural communication skills. Classes
are participatory and emphasize active learning. We teach classes at CHICLE or at
worksites. We also offer specialized occupational Spanish courses.
In our language classes, students speak as much as possible in the language they're learning
and hear it from the very beginning. We have developed a practical curriculum
that combines the learning of grammar, pronunciation, and conversation skills through
a wide variety of group and individual activities and exercises. Our teachers are
very experienced and trained to use our materials.
At CHICLE we believe that each individual has his or her own learning style; what
works best for some may not be ideal for others and vice versa. Our courses are
designed to incorporate a variety of learning styles.
